This topic will review the various routes that the AEMT will deliver medication with a specific focus on the subcutaneous (SQ) and intramuscular (IM) routes.  The topic will also review the indications for, and use of, intranasal administration.

• Review the anatomy, metabolism, and mechanics of the intramuscular route
