Oxygenation

While the healthy human being will receive adequate oxygen levels from ambient air, the EMS provider must often provide supplemental oxygenation to patients in respiratory distress.  This topic will review not only the mechanics of how the EMS provider can provide supplemental oxygen, but also how the EMS provider can make a clinical decision to provide oxygen based upon assessment findings.
